We have a small, one court gym for our girls and boys volleyball team. We normally carry 18 to 24 players per season, so keeping all the players active in a one court gym is a challenge.

The Edge Trainer allows us to keep an additional 4 to 6 players active while the main court is in use, reducing downtime. The net height is adjustable, so it works for girls and boys net height. It also allows us to have the shorter players work on proper ball contact without being intimidated by the height of the net.

The Edge Trainer allows the players to work on proper footwork, spacing, and approach to get on top of the ball for hitting and develop some muscle memory. Since we can adjust the location of the ball on or off the net, lower or higher, it allows players to find their comfort zone for hitting on and off of the net.

The players walk into the gym and after stretching, head right to the Trainer to start hitting – they get an amazing amount of reps, and with cell phone technology the players can record their approaches and review the footage after practice.

The Edge Trainer stores easily in our small storage closet and was much more cost effective and easier to set up than the competition.

You can even take the front volleyball net off and use the base as a target for passing, as it will catch the volleyballs for you, so it’s like having two training devices for one price!

The Edge Trainer works so well for us, we just ordered our second one for our gym, so all players will be busy all the time in our practices and get more touches in our small, one court gym. It was the best purchase I have made for my team, and this is my 22nd year of coaching volleyball.
